Introducing Janiel, the candle master!

I have a passion for candles and the way they can transform any space into a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, after burning store-bought candles, I started experiencing headaches and allergies due to the use of paraffin wax and soy blends. I knew I had to make a change, not only for my own health but for the well-being of my family and home.

That's when I started experimenting with making my own candles using 100% natural soy wax. It took years of trial and error, but I finally perfected my craft and created the perfect natural candle that not only smells great but is also healthy for you and the environment.

With my unnamed and unbranded candles, I started selling at local farmers' markets and received an overwhelming response from customers who loved my product. I was thrilled! But I still needed to find the perfect name that represented my values and vision.

Then, we welcomed a flock of chickens into our home, and everything fell into place. Our little clucky hens, who spend their days scratching around for bugs and sprouts, inspired the name Chick N' Scratch. It was the perfect fit, and we haven't looked back since.

Our candles are hand-poured with love and care, and my family often lends a hand, which sometimes results in a few splashes or uneven pours. But that's what makes our candles unique and special.
